Synopsis

Chef Joe Wren makes the Vellum Room prosper through fresh ingredients and careful cooking, until owner Lily York replaces quality with additives and drives him out. During an investor's inspection, Joe demonstrates that the broth is fabricated and alerts authorities, whose investigation finds toxic oil and carcinogens behind the restaurant's claims. After the operators are sentenced, Joe joins the investor to build a business around honestly made food.
