The Mismatched Marriage

On her wedding night Xiao Ying wants her husband, Lu Ze, to stand up for her. A prank played on the couple gets out of hand and Lu Ze is too frightened to step in. Xiao Ying fights back herself and injures someone by accident. The two flee to a village deep in the mountains, where a retired soldier named Yu Fu takes them in. The time in hiding wears away what is left between husband and wife. Xiao Ying is drawn to Yu Fu's steadiness, while Lu Ze grows more obsessive and suspicious. Reality hits her hard, and Xiao Ying wakes up to what her marriage is and begins to pull away from Lu Ze.
