Synopsis

Shen Man, a blogger, wants to know what really happened to her older sister, whose death was put down as a suicide. Her digging pulls her into another case: Ai Xia, head of an obstetrics department, has had her uterus removed, and Shen Man becomes the prime suspect in it. Jiang Li, a police officer, helps her clear her name, though the two women start out on opposite sides. Then a postcard surfaces that connects the sister's death with what happened to Ai Xia, and the two of them have no choice but to work the cases together. Soon after that, a second killing takes place.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.

The plot is hard to follow and never really comes together. With all the flashbacks and dream sequences, the pacing has no tension at all…
