His drastic rewrites throw the original script into chaos, forcing screenwriter Tutu and director Zuizui to salvage the increasingly tangled plot. What was meant to be a grand fantasy masterpiece is scaled down due to budget cuts, leading to endless chaotic twists. Just as the project teeters on the brink of collapse, an unexpected man reignites the team’s passion, steering the story back on track.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.

The plot is hard to follow and never really comes together. With all the flashbacks and dream sequences, the pacing has no tension at all…
