Awakening: The Mortal God

Alexis is competing in the Temple Selection. He is a mortal and is written off as worthless there. His own family had cast him out to die after the woman he loved betrayed him, and he survived that and came back for his mother, who is dying. The prophecy is fulfilled during the Selection. Alexis wakes as the true heir of Zeus, with lightning, and he crushes the elite contenders. Hades has only just woken as well, and Alexis destroys him. He is a True God after that, and he goes into a realm that kills whatever enters it, to bring back the people he lost. Hera is arranging his fall, and he does not know about it.
