The Spy Who Owned Me

Sofie survives an attack that was meant to kill everyone present, and the man who takes her off the scene is Sterling Black, a spy with no particular interest in whether she consents. Staying alive means going where he goes, and going where he goes means being his wife on paper and in front of the people watching him. She learns the shape of his work in the middle of it. There are people inside his own organization feeding information out, and there are enemies who have already worked out that he has acquired a wife and are treating her as the accessible part of him.
