Synopsis

At her mother's funeral, young actress Violet prays in tears—only to be "comforted" by her stepfather, Maxwell. But no one knows: this man was once the perpetrator of Violet's most traumatic night. She tries to escape, but Maxwell closes in, controlling not only her career but also quietly infiltrating her mother's life—soon becoming her would-be stepfather. Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
