Synopsis

In the early 1980s, a woman returns from overseas to uncover the truth behind her father’s disappearance at the Yanwu factory. She wins orders, joins the technical team, and clashes with a bold reform minded deputy director until trust turns into partnership. Together they solve the mystery, save the factory, launch a national hit recorder brand, and find love in the rising tide of change.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
