The Abyss Lord’s Mermaid

Synopsis

The mermaid princess Thea cuts off her own mermaid tail to venture onto land, searching for her captured sister Lillian. She gets imprisoned in a water‑prison and forms a risky blood pact with Nemesis, the sealed Lord of the Abyss. Together they fight the cruel human King Sauron, who tortures sea‑folk to build deadly mechanical weapons. Thea unlocks full siren power at great personal cost. Finally they defeat the king, rescue Lillian, and rule the merged realms of sea and abyss.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
