Just a Neighbor

After being disowned by her father and stepmother, Eva struggles alone in Los Angeles with her young daughter Stella, who possesses the supernatural ability to read minds (except for her mother’s thoughts). Starting from the bottom as an extra, Eva clings to her dream of becoming an actress. Her half-brother Tyler, sister-in-law Vanessa, along with Evan’s business rival Jack and actress Megan, scheme against her multiple times, exploiting her vulnerability after being disowned. Evan, a French tech CEO who can unexpectedly hear Stella’s thoughts, joins forces with the clever child to protect Eva and her daughter. Through their interactions, Evan finds healing, Eva grows stronger, and she eventually rises to become an internationally renowned superstar. In the end, Eva and Evan form a family, while the antagonists reap what they sow.
