The Prodigal Returns

Shen Lie wants his family fed through years when there is not enough to go around, and in the life he remembers he failed at it. He wakes back in that earlier time with the memory intact and with an ability he did not have before. Relatives have carried off the household stores. He gets them back, quiets the family, takes work in the mountains and leases forest land for money. Troublemakers come around and the relatives keep calculating, and he holds his line without raising his voice. The money comes in, a new courtyard house goes up, his sister passes the university entrance exam, and a baby is born into the family.
