Academy of the Eclipsed Moon

They were about to drive to the amusement park when Drew turned up with Laura and her daughter. The car was one seat short. Drew told Sienna to get out and give her seat to the two of them, saying Laura had a kid with her so they should go first and he would come back for her later. She got out without arguing and stood there while the car pulled away from the pack. Three hours later they were at the park for the fireworks and the food. A friend asked Drew when he was going back for Sienna. Drew was helping Laura light a large firework at the time and did not look up. He said it would be fine to pick her up later, that she would not mind, that he would sweet-talk her a bit and she would stop being angry. Sienna was still standing where he had left her. Being angry at someone only does anything if that person cares. Her father never had, her mother never had, her brother never had, and now Drew had put himself on the same list. She decided to go, and to not come back.
