The Smith family wants a child from Zoey Quirk, and her husband Jason Smith cannot father one. Zoey was taken into the house as a girl and raised to be Jason's wife. The family's answer is to make her sleep with Samuel Fuller, the governor of Yanvil. Samuel has a use for the arrangement too. He is on a secret mission and uses Zoey to get close to the secretary-general of the Japanese army.
