Synopsis

A fire broke out in the house while the couple's three-year-old daughter Lily and the husband's childhood dog were inside. The husband, a firefighter, went for the dog. Chloe was crying and he went to her; Lily was calling for her father from the other room. The mother watched Lily's hand go into the flames. Afterward Chloe told her to stop struggling because he would never believe her, and he did not. The police called about Lily's death certificate. Later he was within earshot when Chloe said she had set the fire, that she had locked the girl's door, and that Ethan was hers now.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
