Synopsis

Eliza's fiancé is in bed with her own brother when she walks in, and the engagement she had built her life around turns out to have been cover for that. Not long after, someone tries to kill her. Her family hires a bodyguard, Derek, who moves in close and keeps her at arm's length at the same time, correct about every detail of the job and unwilling to be anything but correct. She finds she wants him anyway. The people who arranged the attempt on her are still around her, and Derek is the one person she has left who has sworn anything to her.

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
