Wrong Wedding Room, Right Groom!

Two families settled their alliance with a double wedding. Eliza Devin, who runs her own company and is used to being the hardest person in any room, was matched with the head of the Nott family, a man known for cold decisions and short answers. Her younger sister Katie was matched with his younger brother, a movie star whose face is on half the billboards in the city. The four of them went through the ceremony on the same day, in the same house, with the two bridal suites down the same corridor. That night the sisters walked into the wrong rooms. Nobody caught the error in time, and by morning Katie had spent the night with the elder brother and Eliza with the younger. The families gathered to work out what could be undone and concluded that very little could. So the paperwork was redone instead of the marriages. The sisters traded contracts and stayed where the mistake had put them. Katie, who had prepared herself for a husband who lived in front of cameras, found herself married to a man who barely speaks at dinner. Eliza, who had braced for a cold house, got the brother everyone recognises on the street.
