Synopsis
Christy Lane is a violinist with a career built on performing, and she is forced into betraying the man she loves. She has no say in it. By the time she is out from under the pressure she is pregnant and has no money. Then an illness starts on her, and the thing it takes first is her ability to play. It goes slowly, so she keeps the violin. She simply cannot get anything out of it any more. What she has after all of that is the instrument sitting there and a daughter, seven years old, who has decided by herself that she is going to get her father back.
