Fate Led Me to You

Lynn Shaw's family have arranged to sell her into a marriage, one meant to bring good luck to the household that pays for her. She gets away and begs help from a man who happens to be passing, Caleb, the chief executive of Langdon Group. Caleb takes pity on her. He gets her clear of the arrangement and puts her into a private school that his company owns. At the school the other students look down on her and bully her, and her own mother makes her take a part-time job on top of it. It is at the job that she runs into Caleb again, and as the two of them spend more time together they begin to care for each other.
