Synopsis

Princess Yue Changge fought to secure her brother’s claim to the throne by opposing corrupt officials and leading successful campaigns. After her return to court, she was ambushed, and her cousin Fu Qingluan was killed by mistake. Before dying, Fu Qingluan revealed her mistreatment by in-laws and asked Yue Changge to avenge her and care for her daughter. Disguised as her cousin, Yue Changge seeks revenge while uncovering court conspiracies. She reconciles with Yun Chuxu, whom she had once broken off their engagement with, and together they defeat their enemies and find happiness.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
