Jodie is pregnant after ten years of marriage and the Knox family will have an heir. Elias takes a photo of her, puts it up on his social account, and writes that he will love her and the child for the rest of his life. Nikki grew up with Elias and had been his sweetheart. She sees the post and takes Jodie for a mistress using a pregnancy to secure a place in the family. Nikki works on camera and has an audience for it, so she goes live with a mistress-hunting theme and beats Jodie in front of the stream until Jodie loses the baby. Elias is out of the country in meetings and hears nothing about it. He flies back and gets there after it is over.
