All Hail the Queen of Vengeance

Cody Hayes turns up again once Gina Flint is living in a body that is not hers, and he goes on as though nothing about her has changed. She asks him what he wants. "You," he says. Gina was an undercover police officer working on Sens Media when her cover broke and she was killed on the job. She woke up as the real daughter of the Seng family, a girl who had been stolen as a newborn and raised for years by a woman who beat her. The girl was eventually found and brought home, where the daughter who had been living in her place framed her again and again and her own parents took the other girl's side. She died in the hands of kidnappers. The Seng family sits above the company Gina had been building a case against, so the girl's name gets her closer to it than her own ever did. She settles the girl's accounts inside the household and keeps working. The further into the family she gets, the more that does not add up about how she died the first time.
