Evan Hale has the family name, the money and the face, and a reputation at Bayton University for being wild and impossible to rein in. Everyone has decided nobody will ever manage him. Then a transfer student, Elsie Blair, walks up in front of the whole campus and takes the cigarette out of his mouth. The consensus is that she is finished. Evan is not angry.
