Because I Want You

Haizhu and Zhi'an run a channel together as a couple. The subscriber count and the income keep climbing and they keep it up. One of them works freelance producing video, the other is an actor who has not got anywhere, and the channel started as a way to earn and to be known. It took off well past what either of them planned for. A slip during a livestream almost gives away that the couple is an arrangement. An invitation arrives around the same time from 'Because I Want You', a dating show for same-sex couples, and they take it as a way out of the livestream problem. They spend the show in each other's company and find fault with each other constantly, and what is actually between them gets less clear as it goes on.
