Synopsis

Lyra shares a hospital ward with her best friend Celine after giving birth. Her husband Julian reveals he has long betrayed her with Celine, even arranging the assault that caused her past miscarriage. To save Celine’s sick son, Julian forces Lyra’s newborn daughter to undergo a heart transplant, leading to the baby’s death. Lyra commits suicide in despair, then awakens to a new life, rejecting Julian’s futile repentance and regaining true freedom.
