Blazing Her

George Hart wants an investment from Mr. Warren, and to get it he sends his own daughter to Warren's bed. The daughter is Ava Hart, and by the time this happens her boyfriend and her half-sister have already betrayed her. She has been drugged. While she is looking for a way out she runs into a man who knows her face. She had protected him when they were children. She takes him for a male model hired for the night, sleeps with him, and leaves money behind when she goes. Back at the Hart house she is locked up. The man learns what has been done to her, goes to Mr. Warren, and gets her out of the family's hands. With nowhere else to go she goes home with him, and when he proposes she accepts, mainly to be free of George for good. The two of them start to grow close. Then the man's uncle, working with the family's enemies, moves against his father. To keep Ava out of the reach of those people, the man humiliates her in public on the day she is least able to take it. She leaves him, meaning to build a business of her own. He keeps watch over her from a distance.
