Marrying Up in the 80s

Daphne Sue is back in her home village for a dinner, and the people there treat her as someone who has come down in the world. One of them tries to fix her up with a match on the spot. She has been living in the city with her daughter since she divorced her husband. That marriage lasted seven years, she worked herself to the bone for the family through all of it, and she found out he was cheating on her. At the dinner she takes out her gold jewelry, a necklace among the pieces, and tells them she is going to marry the director of the factory. Her ex-husband turns up and makes a scene, and her fiancé gets there in time to protect her.
