Reborn as the Martial Saint

On his wedding day Chen Ji, a martial arts prodigy, is killed by his half-brother Chen E, who has already lived this life once and come back into it. Chen Ji then wakes at the moment, years earlier, when he was to choose a sect. This time he turns away from the Ten Thousand Swords Sect and enters the Great Zen Temple, where he trains hard for years, folds the martial arts of his first life into what he learns there, and reaches the rank of Saint of the Martial Way. He hides what he can do. Chen E, jealous, attaches himself to Elder Wan of the Ten Thousand Swords Sect and takes a forbidden drug that burns his own lifespan for power. He joins with the Feng family to get hold of the ancient Divine Sword that belongs to the Chen family, slaughters the Chen clan for it, and carries the killing into the Great Zen Temple. Chen Ji protects Xu Jingyi, the woman he loves, and brings Elder Wan's part in the plot into the open. By the time he faces Chen E, his brother is being moved by a gu worm and the evil art he practises is turning back on him.
