SSS-Rank: The Slum-Born Thunder God

Everyone believes Nate Ryder's Awakening failed and left him with nothing. What he actually awakened is the Thunder God, SSS-rank, the rarest power on Earth, and he says nothing about it. His father ruined his health paying for the vial of Awakening serum. His mother has been paralyzed for ten years. At school, Tyler, an A-rank prodigy from a wealthy family, stamps on the serum vial and arranges with administrators to keep Nate out of the national tournament. Nate keeps his strength hidden and trains, taking the insults as they come. When the Federal Awakened Selection Tournament opens, Tyler steps into the arena expecting to beat him in front of thousands of spectators, and Nate uses the Thunder God.
