2026·59 Eps

Synopsis

A curse put on a newborn girl was set to kill her. The girl is Erin. Her father is Aldar, the mage people call the Lord of Ashes, who had turned back a dragon by himself, and the king held a victory feast over it. Aldar went to the feast and took the royal Life Gem out of it, because the gem is what keeps Erin alive. Then he went missing with it. For the fourteen years since, he has worked as a janitor at a magic academy with no power to his name, and he has taken the humiliation and the abuse that come with the job so that Erin stays safe.

You Are My Antidote

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
