The Glow and the Blaze

Hou Qingwan is back in her own body at an age she has already lived through once. Her half-sister Hou Yuyao, the daughter of a woman her father kept outside the house, came from another time and has been using what she knows of the future to arrange things. The first time around that arrangement ended with Hou Qingwan dead, with Hou Yuyao, the crown prince Gu Jingyu and her own father all in it together. She now knows what each of them will do before they do it. She goes after Hou Yuyao with the memories, showing that the work Hou Yuyao passes off as her own is copied and that she has been putting poison in people's food. Her own standing in the house rests on her grandfather's command of troops and on the empress. Gu Jingyu is stripped of the position of crown prince over his dealings with pirates raiding the coast. Prince Jing, Gu Jingxuan, works with her to lay the rest of the plotting out in front of the court.
