Midlife Loser Turned CEO

Helena wants to move up in her career, and to do it she attaches herself to Howard and drops Theodore, her husband of thirty years. Theodore has been selling grilled skewers on the street. Then his uncle dies, and the will hands him the chairmanship of SH Group, with the businesswoman Lily assigned to help him run it. Every company that hears SH Group has changed hands scrambles to get close to the new chairman, without knowing who he is. Helena mentions to Theodore that she wants an introduction to SH Group. He thinks about the thirty years in which he never did anything to help her, and gives her two invitations with his own signature on them. She does not take them seriously. At the board meeting she and Howard find out who the new chairman is. Lily tells Theodore she loves him and he accepts her. When he goes to buy a house for Joyce, the sales staff treat him with contempt, so he buys the entire property group, fires Henry, and sees that Joyce's home surroundings are protected.
