100 Days Captive

Five years ago Nora, a doctor, kept a badly injured man alive through a night of snow. The man was Kane, the young don of a Sicilian Mafia family. He called her his angel and kept watch on her for the five years after that. Nora married Thomas. Kane took her during the honeymoon and brought her to the Vett family's private island, where he set the terms: a hundred days to fall in love with him. She refused and held to her marriage. Kane then put the two of them through a game in which Thomas sold her out to save himself. After that Nora behaved as though she were giving in while she worked out how to get off the island, and each move she made turned out to be one Kane had already accounted for.
