Bride of the Frost Dragon

Noah's restaurant, Red Moon, is going under. He gets down on his knees in front of his cousin Lucas and asks him to save it, with half the profits promised in return. Lucas runs the kitchen for a year and brings in a million dollars. Then Lucas's daughter falls seriously ill and the treatment needs money at once. Noah has forgotten the promise by then. He keeps all the profit and laughs at the request. Lucas quits Red Moon and opens a restaurant called Maple across the street. Maple takes three Michelin stars. A raid shuts Red Moon down and it goes bankrupt. Noah gets one more shot at Lucas at the final of a cooking contest and wrecks his ingredients. Lucas cooks anyway, with a soup made from the scraps he has left.
