Hidden in My Best Friend's Dad's Safehouse

Camille Hayes finished law school and went to her graduation party. Her ex-boyfriend Derek put her private photos up in front of the room. Within minutes gunmen came for her, and the man who got her out was Roman DeLuca, the father of her best friend Sofia. Roman had left the DeLuca crime family years earlier and now ran security. One of the leaked photos held a code, and something in it connected to women who had gone missing. That made Camille a witness, and it made her a target for Victor DeLuca, Roman's brother and the head of the family Roman walked away from. Roman moved her to a safe house and told her to stay there. Camille did not stay. She traced the money, contacted other victims, and asked Roman to train her to fight. They were shut in together and something started between them that neither was supposed to want. To get inside the network they needed access to a private auction, so they went in posing as a couple. Someone photographed them kissing and sent the picture to Sofia, and the friendship ended there. Camille set a trap for Victor. Roman had to face the family that wanted him back. She went on to work as a lawyer against the blackmail ring that had used her photos.
