One Night with My Ex's Godfather

Ava works as a forensic accountant. The night she finds out that her fiancé Ryan and his friends are tangled up in a betrayal, she goes to bed with a stranger, an older man. The next day she finds out who he is. Lucian is Ryan's adoptive father and the head of Black Crown, a crime organization. Ryan humiliates Ava in front of everyone. Lucian takes her side and freezes his son's rights to the family inheritance. Ava then goes into partnership with Lucian to look into her own father's disappearance, which she has come to suspect was a murder, and into 300 million dollars of dirty money. Lucian and Ryan are meanwhile fighting each other for control, and Ava's feelings for Lucian grow while she works beside him. The search turns on three financial keys. Ava and Lucian use them to push the traitors into leaving evidence against themselves.
