Text from Future Me: I'll Rewrite My Destiny

Henry Shaw gets his hands on another man's whole fortune, and the woman that man is engaged to helps him do it. The man is Thomas Howell. He is left with nothing, and at the moment it all goes under, his phone receives a text. The sender is Thomas Howell, twenty years from now. More messages follow and he acts on each of them. He pulls Vivian Jones, the eldest daughter of the Jones family, clear of a chandelier before it comes down on her. He turns a jade-betting game around, with the stones he picks splitting open onto jade one after another. The forged paintings that Henry Shaw's family has been passing off get exposed. The Dragoni Chamber takes note of him and puts its backing behind him. The messages carry on past that, into antiques and then the stock market, and his family's standing changes along with his own.
