What Happened to the Lost Child

Synopsis

Mike Burke arranges for a small girl to go missing in a Southeast Asian country and nobody knows he has done it. The girl is Zoe, and her mother Una Brooks, frantic and past controlling herself, goes to Zoe's preschool and holds the children in one of the classrooms there, so that the police will look for her daughter. Police and local residents search, and Zoe is found in a secured area soon after. The investigation into how the girl came to be missing leads back to Burke's plan.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
