Pigs, Daughters, And A Fresh Start

Jane Hall raised pigs for a living and sent her husband abroad to study. She stayed behind, brought up their three daughters on her own, and looked after her mother-in-law, who was paralysed and bedridden. Twenty years of that went by. All three daughters came out of it as specialists in demanding technical fields. Her husband, now successful and known, came back and told her he wanted a divorce so he could marry his mistress. The three daughters turned up to stand between their mother and their father. They backed the divorce and told her to live for herself now, and she began again on her own terms.
