Synopsis

Larry Smith, the son of the county magistrate, takes Mia to make her his concubine. Mia is the daughter of the couple who raised Elias Knox, and the woman he loves. Elias is the emperor, travelling in plain clothes to find those adoptive parents and Mia, and Larry has no idea who he has beaten up in the road. Elias makes his identity known and comes down hard on Larry and on the magistrate, Tim Smith. With the court's attention already in the region, he uses the moment to put down Lord Gavin, who has raised a rebellion, and then marries Mia.

You Are My Antidote

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
