Synopsis

After a legendary football player dies while saving a life, he is reborn in 2025 with a second chance to fulfill his unrealized dream of international glory. Abandoning the path of a solo hero, he travels across the region to recruit forgotten, amateur players into a grassroots team called the 'Thirteen Guardians.' By blending ancient military tactics with a brotherhood of spirit, he leads this band of nobodies from local fields toward the world stage, challenging the dominance of professional teams.

You Are My Antidote

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
