Sword Oath: I Collect Their Debt

Fiona Hawke, Princess of Westvale, carries the Phoenix Destiny. The man she sides with is Charles Rivers, who was born under the Doomed Star Fate and whose cultivation has no equal. Charles is the son of a Bladesmith. The Bladesmiths are a hidden lineage who lend out divine blades when the world falls into chaos and come back fifteen years later to collect the debt. Under a pact made long before, Charles went to Southland to marry its Empress, Victoria Snow. She broke the promise, and Quentin Drake, a minister at her court, framed him. Quentin means to swallow the Fate of the Three Kingdoms for himself. Charles and Fiona work against that plan, and the secrets behind the lent blades come out a little at a time.
