Burning Iris
Synopsis
Iris Carter takes her half-sister Madison's place in an arranged marriage to Liam Archibald, a colonel and the heir of the Archibald family, who is lying in a coma. Iris volunteers for it. The marriage gets her out of her father's house and away from Ryan Vanderbilt, and she cuts off all contact with Ryan. Iris grew up on Manhattan's Upper East Side, in a house where her father doted on Madison and passed over her. In college she fell in love with Ryan, the bodyguard assigned to her, who was secretly the heir to an elite family of his own. On the day of her graduation she found out that he wanted Madison and had been using Iris to get near her. In the years that followed Ryan did whatever Madison asked of him, and when Madison pushed him to, that included hurting Iris badly. Liam wakes up. What started as an obligation on Iris's side turns into something closer to love, and an old connection between the two families comes to light. Ryan realizes that it was Iris he loved all along and tries every way he can to get her back.

Ratings & Reviews

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<
