First Daughter:Forbidden Duty

Nova's father, the President, is assassinated. His political enemies then turn on Nova. Grant Steele, who used to be an officer in the special forces and was the President's best friend, is assigned to her as a personal bodyguard. Nova distrusts him from the first meeting. She regards him as a hypocrite of the same kind as her dead father. She then finds out that he keeps a BDSM life hidden from others. She starts trying to seduce him, using what she has learned, and keeps pushing him. Over time she is drawn to his strength and to his vulnerability, and the two of them grow close, with the manipulation and the attachment no longer easy to tell apart. Throughout this the conspirators keep coming after her, and Grant is still the one standing between them and her.
