I Became an Olympic Swimming Champion

Zephyra wanted to swim at the Olympics from the time she was small, and her family had no money for it. Her grandmother stood behind her, so she kept going. Her persistence got the attention of Xander, the national team coach, who brought her into the Summerian squad. Inside the team she was pushed to the edges and passed over, and no race came to her. She held on. At the final selection meet she got her swim, with her grandmother and her coach and her country behind it, and what she did in the water showed what Summerian women's swimming was. Winning the title set other things off, and she has to go back to her home village, where a trial is waiting for her.
