Jailed Heiress, Revenge Begins

Sylvia was adopted into the Bai family while the family's own eldest daughter was missing. When that daughter, Winnie, was found and brought home from the orphanage where she had grown up, Sylvia set about keeping her place. She put on an act for the parents and worked on them until they turned against Winnie and doted on Sylvia. Winnie went short of ordinary things in her own house. The man Winnie quietly liked, Mason, was in love with Sylvia. When Mason fell ill Winnie gave him a kidney, and Sylvia let him believe the kidney was hers. Later Sylvia drove into Mason's younger sister Selena and left her in a coma. Mason covered for Sylvia and named Winnie as the driver. Winnie was convicted and served five years. Inside she was beaten, had a leg broken, and was mistreated for years by people Sylvia had paid. Xander, who had known Winnie since they were children, spent those years collecting evidence, and in the same period built a company with help Winnie had given him. Once she was out, she and Xander went after the truth of the accident.
