Synopsis

Daniel is sick and Emily cannot pay for his treatment, so she marries James, who has money, and takes it. She tells Daniel she left him because she wanted a better life, and she lets him go on believing that. Three years later Daniel comes back with a fortune of his own. He gets close to Emily on purpose and works on James until James assigns her to him as his personal assistant. From there he pushes it into an affair, and Emily, still married, goes along with it against everything she has told herself she stands for.

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
