The Poor Students My Dad Helped Are Now Legends

The man spent more than thirty years working away from home as a labourer, and out of that he paid the school fees of over three hundred children whose families could not. He lost track of them afterwards. He is old now and the stomach cancer is at a late stage, and what he keeps asking is how those children are getting on, with not much time left to find out. His daughter takes it on and works through every way she can think of to reach them. They are grown, and among them are company heads, doctors and senior officers. One after another they hear what has happened and put down what they are doing to come and see him.
