Synopsis

Scholarship student Gracie harbors a crush on student president Caspian but is mocked as a "nerd" who only knows theory. Her rival Hudson proposes a deal: he'll pose as her boyfriend to help her win Caspian, if she tutors him in theory. Their secret lessons in a forbidden attic grow increasingly intimate—hiding from Caspian in a shower stall, practicing seduction over wine. When Hudson kisses her publicly to save her from humiliation, Gracie's heart wavers. During a mock date, she breathlessly asks "can you kiss me"—only to realize she called out Hudson's name, not Caspian's.

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
