Synopsis

In the near future, grassroots competitors Cole and Jordy rise to fame together in the globally live-streamed "Celestial Ladder Purgatory" tournament, only to be forced into a brutal falling-out by the system's hidden rules. After betrayal, near-death falls, and bitter revenge, they uncover the truth behind the partner-versus-partner kill experiment and reforge their wind-and-thunder bond. United once more, they join forces to bring down the tournament's dark conspiracy.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
