Lord of The Underworld

A state prison runs on the assumption that the men who guard it are ordinary men. Quinn Hale works there as a guard and is treated accordingly, noticed by almost no one. Quinn trained in martial arts and in medicine, and he can treat injuries other doctors cannot. He controls a large amount of money and a network of contacts, none of it under his own name. He moves between the street and the circles that run business and politics, and in each of them he settles matters in his favor. Women are drawn to him and he does not discourage it. The people who deal with him come to know him as the Dragon King.
